Your article is very interesting and illustrates many useful patterns but IMHO it lacks some graphs or diagrams that more clearly illustrate the architecture "before" and "after". It’s just that just seeing code is more difficult to visualize than having the whole picture in front so we can see the "big picture". A picture is worth a thousand words.
